Tasting Room and award-winning Witch Creek Winery is located in Carlsbad, CA directly on the historic Highway 101. Founded in 1993, our boutique winery focuses on quality over quantity, by producing small-lot,handcrafted wines using traditional winemaking techniques. The result is full-bodied well balanced wines rich in flavor that have earned many medals over the years at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and Orange County Wine Competition. Witch Creek prides itself on being your source of some of the more unique and harder to find domestically produced varietals,such as Nebbiolo, Teroldego and Montepulciano.

The Carlsbad tasting room is located on site at the winery (just one block from the beach!). With gourmet restaurants,a wide variety of shopping and several wine bars, Carlsbad Village is the ideal way to enjoy all the charm that laid back Southern California has to offer. Just an hour's drive east of San Diego you'll find our Julian tasting room. Nestled up in the mountains of the historic gold-mining town, Julian is one of Southern California's premier mountain retreats.
